Hi, I know you talk from time to time about how Thomas has to be shaved for his health and wears clothes to stay warm, my family has a Maine Coon and our groomer recommended we start doing lion cuts his next appointment. Do you have any recommendations for places online to buy him clothes or are all of Thomas’s custom made?
Sadly, at this point (for you–awesome for him), all Thomas’s favorite shirts are bespoke. That cat has a nicer wardrobe than I do.
Before I started getting him handmade sartorial masterpieces, though, we would go to PetSmart/PetCo and buy him Small or Medium pieces, keeping track of which brands fit his proportions and which didn’t. He could also wear some toddler shirts, although those were more hit-or-miss, due to the placement of the arms.
He wears clothes less to stay warm and more to cut off access to his fur as it grows back, if that makes a difference. Especially in summer, your naked boy may be just fine.
My new favorite excuse for not jumping on new trends or bandwagons is ‘I’m 30.’ No more explanation needed because anyone under 30 just thinks I’m old and everyone over 30 understands implicitly

dick cheney’s oil company got all the rights to the oil resources that american troops took over and his direct friends in the military industrial complex got big fat contracts to buy, sell, and build all the other military and industrial shit involved in the war on terror. 8 trillion dollars of american taxpayer money didn’t vanish into the air: it was paid to dick and his pals to slaughter a generation of middle easterners whose only crime was being born in the gap between valuable resources and evil men.
